A record 14 representatives from New Car Dealers Association San Diego County spent valuable time in Sacramento in March visiting with state Assemblymembers and Senators during California New Car Dealers Association Dealer Day.

Dealers and legislators were able to engage in meaningful discussions about critical issues facing the retail automotive business, including the detrimental impact CARB’s ACC II mandate will have on consumer choice and state and local tax revenue starting with the 2026 model year. 

A highlight of the trip was Manny Sedano’s acceptance of the coveted CNCDA Chairman’s Award during the annual meeting of the members.
