The O’Gara Coach Exotics Vault delivers some of the most desired vehicles on the planet, and, while they may not fit the budget of every show attendee, always draws an admiring and enthusiastic audience. The features are one way that the San Diego Auto Show differentiates itself in a world where auto shows are evolving as automakers look for additional opportunities to engage with prospective new customers. And yet, while some have decreed a death knell for auto shows in the traditional sense, research shows just opposite. Consumers who are in the market to purchase favor auto shows in a wide margin in helping determine their choices. A report fromUrban Science research says 85%of auto-buying consumers agree that a vehicle is too big an investment to risk not seeing it before you buy, and 83%would never buy a vehicle without test driving it first. And where do they want to see and test-drive these vehicles? Auto shows and dealerships, the report indicates. That naturally leads to the assumption that if dealers are engaged in the show in some way, whether actively partnering with automakers to identify leads, or simply having a presence at the show to network with show attendees, it could be more likely that they would see increased traffic in the showroom, which is what it’s all about. Ticket Prices $15 General Admission $12 Military (active duty) $12 Senior (62-plus) $11 Child (7-12) Free Children 6 and under $2 off coupons are available at all San Diego County dealerships and participating 7-11 stores while supplies last.
