D-level tech Performs general maintenance and most repairs. Is in the process of completing training and certifications. C-level tech Has mastered most vehicle systems and is able to accu- rately diagnose and repair them. Begins to train and mentor C- and D-level techs. B-level tech Has mastered all vehicle systems and has supervisory, leadership, mento- ring and commu- nication skills or potential. An ability to work well with customers is essential.
