18 San Diego Dealer Y ou didn’t need to be a football fanatic to appreciate NFL Hall of Famer and four-time Super Bowl Champion Terry Bradshaw’s keynote address at the New Car Dealers Association Annual Meeting and Luncheon. Held at the stunning Lodge at Torrey Pines June 13, the annual meeting honored incoming and outgoing NCDA Board members. Following the board meeting and presentations from Vice Chair Jasen Powell and Chairman Mark Gruwell, the energetic Bradshaw entertained and inspired the sold-out house. He captivated the audience with stories from his days as the star quarterback of the Pittsburgh Steelers, stories about living on his ranch, inspiring anecdotes that helped propel him onto the national stage, and his outlook on life that keeps him on that stage. He talked persuasively about never losing the passion for what you do, and about not quitting when a fight gets tough. Bradshaw, who overcame a number of obstacles in his early life, persevered and earned his place as one of the greatest quarter- backs ever to play in professional football.
