Ron developed a love for the business and an appreciation for hard work by starting out in the business washing cars when he was twelve. He continues his family legacy as one of the owners of Frank Motors Group. I hope you take a few minutes to read about Ron and his contributions as both a dealer and a member of the community. Congratulations on this prestigious honor, Ron! I would like to personally thank all of the dealers that participated in the Auto Show. As part of the planning committee, I know all the hard work that the NCDA staff put into the planning and production. Seeing it all come together and be such a success is very rewarding. The Auto Show is instrumental in the operation and funding of all of our efforts. We use the funds we receive from the Auto Show to provide the many benefits you enjoy. Some of the member benefits include Legislative Representation, the California Sales Training Academy, Specialized Training Academy for Automotive Retailers (harassment, OSHA/EPA regulations, internet sales, etc.), Auto Outlook vehicle sales reports, and our annual Economic Impact Report. I encourage all of you to attend our 2019 Golf Tournament onMonday, May 13th being held at the Lomas Santa Fe Country Club. Come out and get to know your fellow dealers in the relaxed setting of a golf course. Even if you don’t play, join us for cocktails and dinner. The media and automotive support organizations will be there for your convenience. Lastly, I want to invite you all to attend the NCDA AnnualMeetingLuncheononThursday, June13th at the Lodge at Torrey Pines. This year’s keynote speaker will be Terry Bradshaw, former NFL quar- terback, TV sports analyst and co-host of Fox NFL Sunday. You do not want to miss this!!
