20 San Diego Dealer T he ever-popular New Car Dealers Association Annual Golf Tournament brought together dealers, sponsors and associate members for a wonderful day of golf, food, drinks and the long-standing traditions of prime rib and exciting door prizes. Golfers started the day by redeeming tee prizes at the Titleist tent. A hearty barbeque lunch then preceded the shotgun start for the scramble format tournament at the beautiful Lomas Santa Fe Country Club in Solana Beach. Post golf, players told tales of missed shots at the hosted cocktail reception, which is a favorite networking event also attended by those who weren’t able to spend the day on the course. Drinks were followed by a 3-course dinner, featuring the aforementioned prime rib. The highlight of the evening was the famed door prize giveaway. From cash prizes and 4K TVs to full sets of Taylor-Made golf clubs, the prizes are always eagerly anticipated and enjoyed by everyone who takes one home.
