This award is now considered the most prestigious award in the Industry. Edwill receive recognition at the NADA Show in Las Vegas. With the 2018 Auto Show in the history books, I want to remind everyone how important it is to make sureyour brands areparticipants in the show. First, our surveys of the people who attend this show make it very clear that this auto show is where they make their decisions on what cars they are going to buy. Be there or lose out on the sale. It’s that simple. Think about it………..Tens of Thousands of People actually pay for parking and tickets to the show to see your brand there. Take a look at the post-show report that we have included in this issue to understand the impact the show has on your business. Second, the income we make on this show is what provides the funding for your Association! It also provides the money to pay for your State Association (CNCDA) and your National Association (NADA) dues. Yes, we pay over $250,000 a year to pay your dues for both of those associations. But, please keep in mind that this benefit of membership depends on the success of the San Diego International Auto Show. I would also like to remind you of two other NCDA events that are in the planning stages: the NCDA Golf Tournament and the NCDA Annual Meeting. The Golf Tournament will take place on Monday, May 14, 2018 at Lomas Santa Fe Country Club. Information will be sent soon. The Annual meeting is still in the planning stages, but will be held in June. We also look forward to sending out details of this event in the near future.
