I look forward to serving the dealer community in this new role and working with Association President, Dean Mansfield and his staff to make this an exceptional year. For those of you who attended the recent New Car Dealers Association Annual Meeting and Luncheon, hopefully you were enlightened and further informed of the ongoing issues our industry faces. From franchise and financing, to government relations and compliance, our industry has a constant stream of tasks to run our business effectively and efficiently. The New Car Dealers Association continues to be at the forefront of these issues and is the integral link that dealer members can rely on to support any and all challenges that may arise. I will look forward to representing our Association at the State and National level as we travel to capitol hill to meet with key legislators and keep them informed of the ongoing challenges we face. I will also look forward to being involved in the planning of the San Diego International Auto Show; owned, produced and presented by the New Car Dealers Association. I am a big fan of the auto show and have enjoyed seeing the event grow over the years and be a primary means of stimulating car sales in the NewYear. Again, I am confident this is going to be an exciting year as your Chairman of the Board, and I encourage all dealer members to take advantage of the wonderful benefits the New Car Dealers Association has to offer.
