The 2017-model year San Diego International Auto Showwas another successful event boasting a 5% increase in attendance that we hope converted to increased traffic in your showrooms. March also is the time of year the New Car Dealers Association finalizes planning for two of our major annual events—the NCDA Golf Tournament and our Annual Meeting & Luncheon. Both these signature events are a great opportunity to bring our dealer and associate members together to network and catch up on the latest industry news. This year, our golf tournament will be Monday, May 1st at the Lomas Santa Fe Country Club. Please be on the lookout for registration information as the tournament sells out quickly each year.TheNCDA will host our Annual Meeting and Luncheon in mid-June and we will look forward to sending out details in the near future announcing our keynote speaker and location. Last year, we welcomedKarl Rovewhodelivered a tremendous keynote address and we expect to have an equally dynamic speaker this year as well. I would also like to congratulate this year’s TIME Quality Dealer Award nominee, Aaron Feldman. This is one of the most coveted awards a dealer can receive and it was an honor to see him accept his much deserved recognition at the recent NADA convention. As a Board Member of the New Car Dealers Association, I appreciate his commitment to the industry and San Diego community and welcome his leadership to our Association.
