Spring 2016 13 KARL ROVE DELIVERS KEYNOTE ADDRESS AT 2016 NCDA ANNUAL MEETING & LUNCHEON T he 2016 NCDA Annual Meeting & Luncheon, held in June at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar, was a rousing success thanks to an informative and engaging keynote address byMr. Karl Rove. Rove, the Former Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to President George W. Bush, spoke for over an hour about the current political landscape and his insight on presidential candidate strategies, and he shared some entertaining stories about his days in the White House. Mr. Rovewas also gracious with his time by answering all questions and spending one-on-one time with the New Car Dealers Association Board of Directors. The Annual Meeting was also attended by Mayor Kevin Faulconer who also briefly addressed the audience. The New Car Dealers Association Meeting & Luncheon is an annual event that acknowledges the incoming/outgoing Officers and Board Members of the NCDA. The traditional passing of the Tiffany gavel takes place and new Board members are announced. This year’s event, was the highest attended annual meeting to date.
