Market trends indicate we can expect to increase 3.7% in 2016. These figures are a great reminder of the tremen- dous impact our industry has on the San Diego County market. OVER 10 BILLION DOLLARS in vehicle sales is astounding. If you haven’t done so already, please take a fewmoments to review the Economic Impact Report that the New Car Dealers Association put out last year. It is posted on the NCDA website, www.ncda.com under the Industry Reports. The Association is working on the 2015 report and I anticipate the figures to be just as staggering. As I head into my last quarter as Chairman of the New Car Dealers Association, this will be my last letter addressing themembership. I can’t reiterate enough what a first-class organization this is. My tenure as Chairman has been a rewarding expe- rience and I am extremely proud of the work the NCDA does for dealers. With the ever-changing landscape of our industry, the NCDA continues to be at the forefront of issues that effect our day-to-day business. I have been able to see first-hand, how the Association protects us when complicated issues arise, and be the voice for the dealers with government officials. My hat goes off to NCDA President, Dean Mansfield and his talented leadership. Dean and the NCDA staff have been a pleasure to work with this last year and I thank them for their service. I would also like to thank my fellow Board members. While I will remain in my role as Chairman until June, I am thankful for the opportunity to address the membership and highly encourage you to be proactive with the New Car Dealers Association.
