While most mindsets are focused on the holiday season, we at the New Car Dealers Association are focusedonproducing another world-class San Diego International Auto Show. We plan year-round for this event and come this time of year, we go into “show mode”. This year’s auto show, taking place December 31-January 3 at the SanDiegoConventionCenter, is shaping up to be one of our best yet. We have seen an increase in purchased exhibit space, con- firmations of global exhibits and are welcoming new sponsors to the show. We are confident this year’s event will do what is intended to do and that is stimulate sales into the New Year. I encourage you to come visit the show and see for yourself the premiere automotive event that is owned, produced and presented by the New Car Dealers Association. 2015 has proven to be a strong year for our Association. We have put an increased focus on improvingmember benefits, being the frontline resource for relevant industry issues and are working on developing new programs for 2016. We also continue to engage in legislative issues by traveling toWashington DC and Sacramento to meet face-to-face with legislators so they are aware of the issues that affect our day-to-day business. I anticipate making more frequent trips in 2016 as an election year. Lastly, on behalf of myself and the staff of the New Car Dealers Association, we wish you a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.
