I recently had the pleasure of spending time with Paul at this year’s NADA Convention in San Francisco and was reminded of what a great ambassador he is to the dealer community. I will look forward to traveling to Sacramento with several members of the New Car Dealers Association Board of Directors as we attend the annual Dealer Day on March 25th as well as Washington D.C. later in the year. These trips give us the opportunity to meet with key legislators who support our business and important issues that affect our industry. I also want to remind all of dealer members that the NCDA has again paid your dues for both the State Association (CNCDA) and National Association (NADA) for 2015. Remember that this one benefit of membership in the NCDA for many dealers more than pays for the dues you pay into our Association. But, we strongly encourage you to make donations to both the State and National Political Action Committees in addition to the NCDA PAC. More than ever, all three Associations need to have the tools to help dealers through the legislative issues at all levels of government. We are seeing an attack on the Franchise System like we have never seen before. Please help us to help you by making donations to all three PACs this year so that we can help to elect business-minded legislators and congress members. Lastly, please Save The Date for our upcoming golf tournament on Monday, May 4th at the Lomas Santa Fe Country Club. This is a great NCDA tradition and a wonderful opportunity to see old and new faces in the dealer community. Be on the lookout for registration information and don’t hesitate to send in your registration form as the tournament sells out quickly. I look forward to seeing you there.
