PAGE 32 ROGERSCLEM.COM 626-858-5100 Dear Dealer Members, W ith opening day for the 2015 San Diego International Auto Show rapidly approaching, bullish new car sales data and an extraordinary number of exhilarating new models headed our way suggest that this will be an exciting year for San Diego’s premier automotive event. As you’ll read elsewhere in this issue of San Diego DEALER, auto manufacturers are delivering change at an ever-increasing rate, and auto shows continue to serve as the single best way for consumers to see and experience all of this change for themselves. To support that claim, manufacturers continue to escalate their commitment to our show, our market, and our dealers by raising the bar with respect to exhibit properties, and space, as well as sponsorship and consumer ticket promotions to drive even more public attendance. You’ll see this manufacturer commitment manifest itself on the show floor with several brands expanding their footprints, upgrading their exhibit properties, and adding even more sizzle with enhanced multimedia presentations and interactive displays. Even the exotic brands are upping their game this year, and you’ll see some of the fastest and most luxurious automobiles from Italy, France, England, and Germany on the show floor. In other areas of the show, we continue to drive improvements to our popular Eco-Center and Mobility Zone features as well. And speak- ing of drive, Test Drives will continue to be a crowd-pleasing feature of the show, with over a dozen brands participating again this year; and everything from ground-pounding V8s to whisper-quiet electric cars will be available for consumers to take for a spin. Show sponsorships, both from auto manufac- turers and several other strong consumer brands, continue to add value to the show with special incentives and unique experiences, as well as providing revenue, and thereby opportunities, for the New Car Dealers Association. And while much of our attention is focused on producing one of the best auto shows in North America, we also want to take time to wish you and your families a safe and happy holiday season.
