Involve me and I’ll understand. —Chinese Proverb Serve as a supervisor and mentor to a student as follows:  Unpaid or paid work experience  Traditional internship or a client based project completed in a classroom through a combination of visits & remote contacts  Internship training plan jointly developed by the educator and supervisor  Workers’ Compensation Insurance liability covered by school district  Minimum 35 hours per internship  Minimum age of intern: 16 Speak to our students on topics such as:  Personal career journey  Technical skills & demonstrations  Career preparation (cover letters, resumes, applications, interviewing)  Preparing for success “Next Steps” Presentations typically are 20 - 30 minutes followed by a Q/A session.
